Fee schedule is based on a full year calendar.  The studio will be closed on public holidays and the month of December. No adjustments are made for months with more or less than 4 weeks of classes.  In the event of illness, prescheduled school/state holidays or studio closures we offer make-up classes as a courtesy, times and availability are not guaranteed.  Make up classes expire in 14 days.

RULES

LOBBY RULES

• Students must wait inside the building to be picked up. 

  No young student is permitted to leave the building without an adult.

• Please try to keep the lobby as quiet and clean as possible.

• Students must use the shelves for their 

  belongings, please do not set them on the waiting room floor or chairs.

• Please do not interrupt the teacher while the class is in session. If you 

  need to speak to the teacher, please do so before or after the class. If necessary, you may make an appointment.

• Running and Tapping on the tile floor are not permitted in the waiting room.

• Please do not let children bang on the viewing windows. 

  We are not responsible for unsupervised children!!!

CLASSROOM RULES

• No food or drinks of any kind are permitted in the dance rooms. You must keep all food and drinks in the waiting room, including water ! Students are not permitted to chew gum in the dance room.

• Absolutely no street shoes on the dance floor !! (street shoes are what you wear into the building).

• Dance shoes are not to be worn outside for any reason!! They are to be worn inside only!!

• All 

  students must be in proper dress code while attending class.  Appropriate shoes must also be worn to all classes.

• Short hair must be secured off of the face. Long hair must be in a Ponytail, bun, or braid.

• Parents are not permitted to walk their children into the dance room. The teacher will greet them at the door and bring them into the classroom. Please do not go into the classroom to pick them up. After the class is over the teacher will bring them out to the waiting room.

• Class will be conducted with the doors closed. This will avoid any distraction from the waiting room.

• Please make sure you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to class. 

• Children should not touch the mirrors or the viewing windows.

STUDIO POLICIES

• REGISTRATION :- A registration fee of RM50.00 per new student is required with the registration form to reserve your class space. (This fee is nontransferable and nonrefundable.) Class availability is on a first come basis. Registration is not complete until the registration fee is paid along with all proper forms signed.

• MONTHLY FEES :- Fees are due the 7th of each month. We accept cash and cheques . All cheques should be made payable to Jaya Dance Academy. Fees are the same amount each month regardless if it a 4 or 5 week month. (Tuition is based on the total of 4 classes per month) Money is not refunded for missed lessons for any reason.

• ATTENDANCE :- Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class. It is important that your child attends dance class every week. Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class, and the studio cannot jeopardize its responsibilities to the rest of the class for one student. If a student misses too many lessons they may fall behind the rest of the class.

Dance Classes at Our Studio

Whether you're looking to pick up a few moves, get some exercise, meet new people or just have a lot of fun, we've got it all here for you. Each class starts with a warm-up full of stretching and conditioning guaranteed to get your heart pounding. Then we move into choreography set to today's groove-worthy music which combines old and new school Bollywood and Kollywood moves.

Classes we provide:-

Beats Of Bollywood.

We incorporate Classical (Khatak, Odissi & Barathanatyam) and Modern ( Hip Hop, Contemporary & Lyrical ) dance styles in our trainings. Students will learn innovative ways to workout, choreograph and perform to any Bollywood music. Classes are available for Children ( ages 4 & above ) as well as Adults.

Krazy Kollywood

Kollywood is what entertainment field of Southern India is called. In this class students will learn a more modernized version of the Indian Folk dances and how to incorporate these elements into choreography. Classes are available for Children ( ages 4 & above ) as well as Adults.

Kiddie Pop

This class will cover the basics of Hip Hop from Old School to the latest  craze of Popping. Focusing on building the child's love for music and boost their creativity. Our classes are designed to strengthen coordination, build body awareness or flexibility, and introduce technical elements for practice.
